Frequently Asked Questions

What does this clickTag editor do? ▼

This tool reads your compressed HTML5 display ad archive in browser memory. It lets you add a missing clickTag variable, change an existing destination link, or strip out all tracking URLs. It packages the revised assets into a clean ZIP archive ready for Google Ads or CM360 upload.

Are my banner archives uploaded to any server? ▼

Never. Everything runs locally in your web browser using the JSZip library and native Blob APIs. Your files never leave your computer, preserving client confidentiality and agency non-disclosure agreements.

Why does Google Ads reject my ZIP for missing primary assets? ▼

Google Ads requires index.html to be positioned at the root level of your archive. Additionally, archiving folders on macOS often introduces hidden __MACOSX folders that cause upload failures. Our tool automatically cleans these hidden folders when exporting your ZIP package.
